The addition of a large wood header beam provides structural support and architectural charm.

Dream Kitchen, Belmont

Many people have a dream kitchen in mind, but what does it take to make it real? For this client, her requests were simple(ish): open it up to the dining and living spaces and modernize the materials. Today, this stylish kitchen is the centerpiece of the home, with slate herringbone floors, quartz countertops, custom cabinets, and a two-wall continuous backsplash of Calacatta marble tile. The subtle mix of materials and patterns introduces rhythm and personality to a space where design and culinary craft meet.

A free flow between common areas increases a sense of family togetherness and makes childcare more convenient.

Calacatta marble tiles create a backsplash and stove wall with natural veining and color variation.

Immediate adjacency to the patio door brightens both kitchen and dining room.

“Tiff is amazing, and I will 100% hire her for my next project. She was able to transform my old and outdated kitchen to a kitchen of my dreams! She took care of the initial design, permit process, as well as project management of the contractor, which was super helpful as I did not have any idea where to start and busy taking care of my kids.”
